I ran into these magazine covers while doing research for another class. This is a magazine by Marc Ecko the clothing designer and graffiti artist. I really like that he stuck to his street art roots for these covers. As a graffiti artist I love seeing real graffiti used in commercial applications.

More tattoos....yay? These are some I've done recently. I'm still working on the one with the wings...one more session and it should be a wrap.

A lot of my inspiration come from music. Those that know me personally know that I do not function properly without my iPod. A couple weeks ago I caught the Mushroomhead show at the Canopy. One of my friends was the stage manager and I got to go backstage and meet some of the guys...awkward people.

I really enjoy good architecture. I grew up 2 miles outside of downtown Chicago and had an awesome view of the Chicago skyline right out of my front window. I've always had a fascination with sky scrappers and buildings in general. I guess thats why I watch HGTV when ever I get a chance. The picture on the left is one I took at Chicago's Millenium Park and the other was taken in Springfield, Illinois.

I'm still not sure what exactly to add on here. I think the sketch thing is boring because I wouldn't be able to tell you why I draw things the way I do. My sketching process is like Nike's motto I "Just Do It." I have decided to start posting different things from where I pull inspiration for my work and other random things that I like/dislike. So without further ado here's a picture of a tattoo one of my tattoo artist friends did on himself....on his own hand. It's a very simple sugar skull but the placement makes it anything but...
